Fall 2018 activities

Gianna started her 4th year of dance with Divine Dance. Her and Grace are glad to be in the same class.

Hudson tried flag football for the fall season. He didn't want to play soccer, which worked out better because it would have added two more practices a week. At the first practice he got nervous and didn't want to go on the field, but Josh went with him and he was fine.
He started off shy in the games and got more comfortable as the season went on and scored several touchdowns.

In the first game, he got a cramp in his side and was crying. He walked off the field with a minute left in the game. It was so hot in September so we made sure he was well hydrated after that.

Cheer leading from the side lines

Getting medals at the last game

We are proud of him for trying something new and sticking with it. He is not sure if he will play again.

Gianna played soccer again in the fall
She was on Cadie's team with Kaden and Aaron
She was just as excited on the field, jumping around and having fun. She scored a lot of goals this season.
Josh took care of the fields for parks and recreation, with Hudson as his helper.
A few practices were canceled due to rain, so Hudson helped Gianna practice at home.
They received medals at the end of the season.

Cadie did a great job coaching
We are proud of Gianna and how well she did in the season.
Papa started teaching the grandchildren music at church during the week. He calls them the mini                                                          Levites. They look forward to the lessons!
The guys had a work day at the camp and we tagged along
Pecan picking at Granny’s house
Hudson brought his BB gun
The pecan picking machine helped get a lot very fast. We took home about 50 lbs. We had some cracked and sold the rest. The kids made $10 each.
Jamie and her girls went also, Jen was in Huntsville for Thanksgiving.
Granny came out to see the kids. She is almost 92!
For Thanksgiving, the kids made crafts with Nana and we had lunch with them.

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
