Gianna's Birthday

Gianna had her 3rd birthday on Monday, August 18. Her party was the Saturday after, so we took her to eat that night.
Her and I actually had an impromptu breakfast with Daddy at work.

She wanted to eat a hot dog and we went to a burger place that had hot dogs too.

After dinner, we went to Toys R Us to look at bikes.
Nana brought her balloons and candy during the day
We gave her a small present to open and then let her and Hudson have a cupcake

She got cards in the mail and was very excited to get money!

This is what she thought about it-

Her party this year was a western theme. She really likes the show Sheriff Callie's Wild West, so it was inspired by that. Gianna was looking forward to her party this year and talked about it for months. It was fun to see her excitement!

It took a little while for Gianna to get out to the party. She had taken a nap and woke up right before it started. She did not want to put on her clothes or do her hair. Finally, Leilynn was able to get her ready!

We had a photo booth area, but I think Leilynn and Gianna were the only ones who did it.  I also forgot to play pin the tail on the horse! Oops!

She loved her horse cake and was ready to blow out the candles, she had practiced on Monday.

She had a good time opening presents and got excited about some of the gifts.
She has been trying to ride Hudson's bike, so we got her one of her own.
The kids wanted to play outside even though it was so hot! They all were sweating and had red faces.

Our kids had changed clothes by the time we took our picture. We were happy to have our family and all our friends to celebrate our girl with us. I hope she has many more birthdays that are the best she ever had!

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

His mom made lasagna.  The beans were an inside joke  I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake  We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
