My sister is back!

Jen and Todd told us at Thanksgiving that they were moving back to Baton Rouge. They didn't know exactly when they would move, but it ended up being in February. Jen asked me if I would fly to Huntsville and drive her car back. I was happy to help and we booked a flight for February 13. It took me the whole day to get there with a flight cancellation and a 5 hour layover!

Operation bring Gigi home

We left the next morning to make the trip home

12 hours later we made it!

We are all so happy to have them back here and look forward to Nash and Jetta growing up with the other cousins!

A week later, we celebrated our 30th birthday. It was extra special to have Jen here for our birthday. I don't think we have been together for a birthday in 5 years. We ate lunch together then got coffee and hung out at my house.

That night all of our family went out to eat at the hibachi grill. My mom bought us crowns and necklaces to wear for the big "30".

Gianna immediately wanted to be the birthday princess too

We have already played together a few times. Nash and Jetta came to Hudson's first soccer game. He is playing spring soccer with 4 and 5 year olds.

He scored one goal in the first game! He also cried quite a bit after he fell one time. He just couldn't hold it together.

Josh is coaching his team too

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
