Gianna - 2.5 Years

If I had to say, I think Gianna takes after the Russo's. She is talkative, loud, can be outgoing, likes to sing, sometimes bossy, is cuddly and a very sweet girl. Her potty training is going good for the most part. She has accidents sometimes, mostly when she is playing and doesn't stop to go potty.

We moved her in a toddler bed 1 week ago. It is going well. She has only gotten out a few times. She really likes her "big girl bed" and wants to lay in it.

- likes to look at books and read to her stuffed animals. She doesn't really like for me to read her books though. She wants to do it herself.

- She falls asleep in the car if she hasn't had a nap and I brought her inside and held her while she slept a couple of times
It is such a rare thing these days, so I enjoyed holding her and remembering when she was a baby
 - likes to fix hair and do makeup on her babies and me. She just got some lip gloss and says, "I need
 to do my lips"
 - has some curly, crazy hair! She wakes up with a mess and the humidity makes it really curly

 - wants to go to Chick-fil-a to eat with her friends.
 - sits at the counter with Hudson to eat. She is still messy, but she wants to be big like him. Some of her favorite foods are oranges, grapes, string cheese, hot dogs, nuts, broccoli and Popsicles.
- loves to swing and does not want to stop. She says, "swing me higher"
The other day she said, "I like babies."
She was cold a lot of the time and wanted a blanket on in the house, car and sometimes a restaurant. I took her to the doctor to do blood work and everything came back normal. She isn't saying it as much, so maybe it was just the cold weather.
She was a champ at giving blood, didn't even cry!
 - she likes to help do chores like sweep, dust and pick up laundry
She is Mommy's little helper and getting to be a big girl in so many ways!

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

March 2025

4-H shooting regionals was held the week of March 17th. Hudson had archery on Tuesday.  He placed 4th in his category and was going to state! Josh was out there all week since he is a coach  Hudson had shot gun events on Friday and Saturday.  Coach Mr. Donald and team They pray before they start  Kaden made it to state in shotgun This was his first year shooting advanced shot gun and it was tougher, but we are proud of him for trying it.  Hudson finished his driver's ed class. He got a 98 on the driving portion.  We celebrated Josh's 45th birthday at his parent's house. His mom made lasagna.  The beans were an inside joke  I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake  We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. She loves that cake and I have been wanting to make it for her. She loved it and cried.

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
