Hudson has been asking us for a playhouse for a while. They can be pricey, so we were thinking of getting them a swing set for Christmas on the black Friday deals. Hudson had started to pray and ask God for a playhouse. Last week, I came across a used play set on Facebook. I was second on the list that was interested and the first people passed, so we go it! It was a great deal!
It has swings, monkey bars, slide, rock wall and trapeze bar.
Gianna loves to slide and swing. She will do the same thing for a long time.
They have a small table underneath where you can sit and eat.
Hudson likes doing tricks on the trapeze bar and is trying to conquer the monkey bars.
They were so excited to get it and are having a blast. It was perfect timing with the weather getting cooler.
We were blessed to find such a great deal and it also taught the kids about prayer and patience. At night when we pray, Hudson thanks God for his playhouse!
School Service Project
On Friday, we went with Hudson to do the service project they were doing for their school fundraiser. They went to the Council on Aging in Port Allen. The 2-5 year olds went in the morning to sing some songs. The older kids went at lunch time to serve, clean up and visit with the people.
Gianna thought she was part of the group and they let her sit and sing too :)
I was very proud of Hudson for performing and he introduced himself in a loud voice. The kids went around to shake hands and Hudson even hugged a lady. He is really coming out of his shell and being more bold.
