Gianna 3 months & Thanksgiving

Gianna made 3 months on the 18th and she had her check up last week. She weighs 13 lbs 3 oz and is 24 inches long, both in the 75th percentile. She is meeting all her milestones and is a healthy, happy girl.

Her daddy showed up and surprised us at the appointment.

I think teething has started. She chews on her hands constantly and has lots of drool.

She can roll from her back to her side.

She reaches out and grabs toys.

We moved her in her room on the 9th and then on the 10th, the day she turned 12 weeks- she slept 10 hours!! She has been sleeping great in her crib in her own room.

I started sleep training and she is learning to fall asleep on her own pretty well. I still rock her sometimes just because I can :) She seems to be a snuggler and I hope she stays that way.

She laughed out loud for the first time at 13 weeks. It is such a sweet sound. I'm sure we will hear lots more because she is such a happy baby.

Thanksgiving

We had a good Thanksgiving day. We went to both families. We did lunch at the Russo's where the kids made a turkey craft and cupcakes.

I took pictures at the house that morning. He can be such a ham!

We are thankful for so many things and feel very blessed for the life we have. Having our kids really puts things in perspective for me. I'm so thankful I get to spend every day with them and for my husband that makes it possible!

I'm glad that my husband and father in law are so handy and put in this fireplace and mantle for us. Looking forward to having a fire this winter.

Huddy enjoyed helping his Daddy and Papa with the project.

Recital

Rehearsal was on Friday April 11th. Gianna and Grace went early to help with the littles. We had tickets to Showcase 2 on Saturday The girls in their dressing room. They were in all four showcases that weekend. Tap - "Shake" Jazz - "Take it All Back" Pointe- "O The Blood" Ballet Intense - "My America" Ballet - "Flowers" Hip Hop Gianna celebrated her 10th year with DDA and had a special tribute during the recital. This is proof that Hudson went So proud of Gianna for her hard work. She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different. I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage. Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

March 2025

4-H shooting regionals was held the week of March 17th. Hudson had archery on Tuesday. He placed 4th in his category and was going to state! Josh was out there all week since he is a coach Hudson had shot gun events on Friday and Saturday. Coach Mr. Donald and team They pray before they start Kaden made it to state in shotgun This was his first year shooting advanced shot gun and it was tougher, but we are proud of him for trying it. Hudson finished his driver's ed class. He got a 98 on the driving portion. We celebrated Josh's 45th birthday at his parent's house. His mom made lasagna. The beans were an inside joke I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. She loves that cake and I have been wanting to make it for her. She loved it and cried.

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances. Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young. We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas. My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk. I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch. We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville. The food was really good.
