September 2023

Hudson signed up for an online fishing tournament through a boy he follows on Youtube. It was for the month of September. He had to measure and take pictures and I would email them to the people. He did a lot of fishing and we were bringing him places to fish!
He placed 7th out of 30 people

We got him a kayak for an early Christmas present because we had a lake trip coming up.
Josh got a new position as a safety specialist in Baton Rouge. He is back at the gas department where he previously worked. A company truck came with the job. He is glad to be  close to home and not having the long drive to Laplace. He started on September 18, 2023.
We went out on a date to celebrate his new job. We ate dinner at Ichiban and then got ice cream at Creamistry
Nana B had the birthday dinner for Gianna and Charli on September 9th. Gianna was August and Charli is at the end of September. Gianna picked roast, rice and gravy with green beans and Caesar salad as the meal.
Jamie made them a red velvet cake
We decided to get our garage floor done with epoxy. I was hosting a shower and thought it would be a good time to get it done.
It only took one day for them to do it. I went with gray, white and black small flakes.
We are so happy with the outcome. We wished we would have done it years ago!
Hudson started his first job at Westside Grooming and Boarding on September 18th. It is right by our house and Camo has been going there for a while, so we know the owner.
He goes every night to turn out the dogs, feed and play with them. She has given him more shifts doing that and helping her when she grooms.
The kids went on their first Youth Group outing with church. Jennifer and Mario started to have outings and meetings with the kids ages 10 and up. They went to Celebration Station to play putt putt and eat at Raising Cane's.
I hosted a baby shower for a friend from church on September 30th. My mom was in charge of decorating and came the night before to set up in the garage.
We went with a "Little Pumpkin" theme since it was fall
Everyone brought a dish and Jessi made the cookies and cupcakes

We played two games - guessing the price of baby items and tasting baby food
We are so happy for Melissa!

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
