Mother's Day & Kindergarten Graduation

Josh and the kids got me a bike for mother's day. I was the only one who didn't have one. It rides really good. It was a good idea because it's an activity we can do as a family.
We went to lunch at Jamie's house. Gianna and I wore maxi dresses because she loves to match me.
Leilynn made this welcome sign for door and she helped out with the younger kids

Kaden, Hudson and Grace performing for us at our house that night. (I think Gianna was not cooperating)

Hudson made this for me at school and was so excited to give it to me. I love my kids and blessed that God gave them to me!

Hudson's class had graduation on May 14 in the church sanctuary. It was actually the first kindergarten graduation for Christian Life. They looked so cute in their caps and gowns.
Hudson (on the right) did the Pledge of Allegiance in the beginning of the ceremony

They did some songs, counted in Spanish and played the bells

He said he wants to be a police officer when he grows up. His advice to the Class of 2016: You will have center time and it's fun.
He received a certificate and The King of Christian Character award

I teared up several times during the graduation- and it's only kindergarten!! I can't imagine what the other milestones will be like.

They had a cake and punch reception after with picture spots.

Some of our family came, it was during the day so not everyone could make it.

We are so very proud of Hudson! He had a great first year at CLA and he will be headed to 1st grade.

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
