Spring!

It's good to see some spring weather here because we had a lot of rainy dreary days. The kids did not mind at all - they loved playing in the water and mud puddles. Hudson rides his bike through the water and this is what that looks like.

They were running and diving in the water like a slip n slide. Hudson was dragging Gianna by the arms at one point, which she did not like!

The first warm day and they put on swim suits. They are ready for summer so they can swim. I'm pretty sure we will have to put the pool up this year.

It has been perfect weather for Jeep riding. Now, they want to ride in it all the time.

Went on a family bike ride. Josh refused to take a selfie.

Hudson played spring soccer with Josh coaching again. He improved from the fall and scored several goals.

Celebrating Leilynn's 11th birthday

Went to the park with Nash and Jetta one afternoon after school ( Hudson did not want to take a picture)

Jen has lived here over a year already. Love spending time with her!
My mom treated the kids to some rides at the Bear Fair

They all had a blast! Gianna is still talking about the rides. The main reason she wanted to go was for cotton candy, which we got at the end.

Hudson did a fundraising challenge at school. It was like a mud run type course with obstacles. The younger kids did not actually go through the mud, so he was disappointed. He did a great job!

I went to school to help for teacher appreciation week and Gianna had recess with Hudson's class. The girls were helping her and taking care of her. Hudson kept telling them she is not a baby.
We sat with the class for lunch and Gianna ate with them.
She didn't wanted to leave when it was time to go
We had our first crawfish of the season for Josh's birthday at his parent's house.
Grace and Gianna playing with the sheep in the yard. They are brave while the boys were hiding on the porch.
Happy 35th with Daddy

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

March 2025

4-H shooting regionals was held the week of March 17th. Hudson had archery on Tuesday.  He placed 4th in his category and was going to state! Josh was out there all week since he is a coach  Hudson had shot gun events on Friday and Saturday.  Coach Mr. Donald and team They pray before they start  Kaden made it to state in shotgun This was his first year shooting advanced shot gun and it was tougher, but we are proud of him for trying it.  Hudson finished his driver's ed class. He got a 98 on the driving portion.  We celebrated Josh's 45th birthday at his parent's house. His mom made lasagna.  The beans were an inside joke  I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake  We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. She loves that cake and I have been wanting to make it for her. She loved it and cried.

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
