We did several family fun activities before Christmas. We made good memories with the kids. Quite a few were first time activities for us. The best part is seeing the kids get so excited and the smiles on their faces.
Messenger's Christmas Land
Messenger's is a house in Denham Springs that has 60,000 lights everywhere and these booths with Christmas scenes. This was our first time going, but it's also the last year the family is doing it.
The kids liked the scenes and they were intrigued
Living Nativity
Another first for us was the living nativity. Hudson went once before with Grace, so he was looking forward to going back. They have scenes outside with live actors and animals that tell the birth of Jesus. We had Gianna and Kaden in our car. Gianna was very excited about the animals.
Christmas Caroling
We always look forward to caroling through Port Allen with the church. The last time we went Gianna was only 4 months old. Her and Hudson had a good time singing and waving at people.
She was waving to people saying Merry Christmas.
School Program & Party
Hudson was in a Christmas program at school and he played a shepherd. He wished he had a stick like the big boys. They acted out the Christmas story and then sang a few songs.
Hudson did well and sang the whole time. He wouldn't smile for some reason or look at us.

Some of Josh's family came to watch Hudson
They had a party in the gym after the program. Hudson with two of his classmates.

Acadian Village
We traveled to Lafayette to see the Acadian Village decorated in lights. The wait to get it in was long because there were only two nights left, but we had fun anyway. It was very pretty with all the lights and decorations.
They had rides for the kids.
Gianna was having fun dancing to the Cajun music
We also went to the Cajun Christmas party at Healing Place Church with Jamie and family.
Gianna was helping decorate brownies and she would say, "sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle" every time she put the sprinkles on.
