Summer is coming to an end for us. Hudson starts Pre-K on Friday!! Hudson and I went together and got his school supplies. I loved getting new school supplies when I was in school. It was fun for me and Hudson liked it for the most part. He is most excited about his new tennis shoes and nap mat.
We started a countdown to the first day of school
The summer seemed to go by so fast. I wanted to do a lot of fun stuff with Hudson before he started school, but it snuck up on us. We have some stuff planned for him this week.
We have been doing some swimming and eating frozen treats to keep cool.
We made ice cream in a Ziploc bag and it was actually good.

Finally made it to the splash park last week and went again this past week. Our friends and cousins met us there to play.
Josh just started running in the evenings and we joined him a few times- even though it is so HOT!

Over the weekend, we went to the camp and spent the night. The kids were so excited to go. We had a good time with the family, but Gianna did not sleep well over there. I don't think she likes sleeping in a new place.
The kids swam in the little pool and we went for a boat ride.
Hudson wanted to do some fishing, but the fish were not biting.
