Rain Rain Go Away

It has been days and days of rain, clouds and cold. I guess it came at a good time since the kids have a lot of new stuff from Christmas to play with.
They went in the garage a few times for a little different atmosphere, but it was kind of cold.

Some of their new toys include an Innotab, tents, stroller, tea set and a Fur Real dog. I felt like we were running out of stuff to do without taking an outside break during the day. They love going outside, so it's hard to tell them they can't.

He finally got to push the "baby shopping cart" at Whole Foods
Gianna has been helping put the utensils away.
Hudson said take a picture of me, Mom!
They did some dancing and the freeze dance song is a fun one

Here is Hudson singing Rain Rain Go Away
I guess it finally worked because today the sun is shining! Yay!

Gianna really likes suckers and she learned where they are kept. She goes up to the cabinet and I know what she wants :)

On a side note, two days after Christmas Hudson got his first ear infection with a sinus infection too. He was in a lot of pain and so pitiful. It was late in the day, so we had to do home remedies until going to the doctor the next day. He slept a lot and was very laid back. He slept in our bed that night and in the shopping cart at Walmart- it was some out of the ordinary behavior for him.

He was much better after a couple of days and back to himself. We went for a follow up two weeks later and it was all clear. I'm glad the kids are usually well because it is hard when they are sick.

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

He got a 98 on the driving portion.  We celebrated Josh's 45th birthday at his parent's house. His mom made lasagna.  The beans were an inside joke  I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake  We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. She loves that cake and I have been wanting to make it for her. She loved it and cried.

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
