Gianna - 10 months

This last month has been quite full for Gianna as well as her mommy! She officially started crawling after her 9 month post (May 29th) and has taken off since then. It took her a while to start crawling, but now she is fast.
She is pulling up on anything and everything. I thought we didn't have much in the house for her to pull up on, but she seems to find a way to do it.

She stands up for a little while balancing and is walking along the furniture.

 - Four teeth have come in during the past month. Her top teeth and two more bottom teeth.

- makes sweet eyes

-finds small things on the floor and puts it in her mouth

- Her playful side is coming out

-If we laugh at something she did, she will do it again

- gives five

- laughs along when we laugh at something

- plays peek a boo

- buries her head and acts shy when someone new talks to her

- gets mad when we take something away

- has a high pitched scream

She is our busy little bee

- when we pat her back, she pats ours when she is sleepy

- likes to drink out of a straw

- roars like a lion and moos like a cow

- like to play with cords, tags and things that crinkle

- just started pointing at things

- looks at Hudson when we ask where he is

- wants her mommy a lot right now and cries when I leave the room

- likes to go shopping and does well in her stroller or cart

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

March 2025

4-H shooting regionals was held the week of March 17th. Hudson had archery on Tuesday.  He placed 4th in his category and was going to state! Josh was out there all week since he is a coach  Hudson had shot gun events on Friday and Saturday.  Coach Mr. Donald and team They pray before they start  Kaden made it to state in shotgun This was his first year shooting advanced shot gun and it was tougher, but we are proud of him for trying it.  Hudson finished his driver's ed class. He got a 98 on the driving portion.  We celebrated Josh's 45th birthday at his parent's house. His mom made lasagna.  The beans were an inside joke  I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake  We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. She loves that cake and I have been wanting to make it for her. She loved it and cried.

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
