Gianna has reached another significant age. The last few weeks have not been short on new things for her!
- wears size 4 diapers and 9-12 month clothes
- sleeps about 11-12 hours at night
-takes 2 naps about 1 1/2 hours each
- sitting up very well by herself
- rides in the shopping cart
-sits in high chairs when we go out to eat
- more serious when meeting new people
-moved up to her big car seat
- has made a lot of progress towards crawling
- doing push ups on her toes
- getting up on her knees and rocking
-scooting up a little
- cries if she hits her head or falls
- learned to clap her hands and likes to do it a lot right now
I trimmed a little of her hair for the first time. It was coming over her ears and the front was getting so thin and almost in her eye.
This is some of the hair off the front
- repeats words such as da da, ma ma, amen, love you, yes, kk and more
- eating more table food like pasta, cheese, green beans, pancakes. She likes to eat!
- likes being in a little pool to splash around in
- doesn't mind it cold or getting in her face
- doesn't want to get out of the bath tub after her bath
- being more mobile and getting into some of Hudson's toys
She is sitting up in her bed after she wakes up. For some reason, this makes her seem a lot more grown up to me. For so long you go and look over the bed to see her and now she is looking right at me when I go in her room. It is a nice way to be greeted!
Her 9 month check up went very well. She looked great and didn't have to get shots. She weighs 19 lbs, 2 oz (50-75%) and is 28 1/2 inches (75-90%). Her head is 17 inches (75%).
Hudson had his 3 year check up as well. He weighs 34 lbs(75%) and is 3' 4" tall (90%). He did so great! Dr. Wood was impressed at the difference he made since Hudson last saw him. He cooperated with everything and was such a big boy. Then, he had to get a shot and he cried a little. He perked right up when the nurse gave him suckers and stickers.
Dr. Wood said they are some of his healthiest patients. So thankful for two healthy kids!
