4/5 month summary

Gianna will be 5 months next week, but she just went for her 4 month check up last week due to the holidays. She weighed 14 lbs 5 ounces(50th percentile) and is 25 1/2 inches long (90th percentile) She did well for her shots and is a healthy girl.

I started giving her rice cereal to practice eating. She is still learning how it works, but making progress. She rolled from her tummy to her back on New Year's Eve and is close to doing back to stomach. She is still a very happy baby and really good except for sleeping lately. For the past couple of weeks she has been waking up during the night and fighting her sleep. She is probably teething and I hope she gets back to herself soon! She can be a night owl and stayed up to bring in the new year! -sat in the bumbo a few times -reaches and bats at toys -likes her play mat and baby doll -puts everything in her mouth -wearing mostly 3-6 months clothes - size 2 diaper -eats every 3 hours -ticklish in many spots -laughs
out loud - talks and coos a lot more and has a high pitched squeal

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

March 2025

4-H shooting regionals was held the week of March 17th. Hudson had archery on Tuesday.  He placed 4th in his category and was going to state! Josh was out there all week since he is a coach  Hudson had shot gun events on Friday and Saturday.  Coach Mr. Donald and team They pray before they start  Kaden made it to state in shotgun This was his first year shooting advanced shot gun and it was tougher, but we are proud of him for trying it.  Hudson finished his driver's ed class. He got a 98 on the driving portion.  We celebrated Josh's 45th birthday at his parent's house. His mom made lasagna.  The beans were an inside joke  I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake  We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. She loves that cake and I have been wanting to make it for her. She loved it and cried.

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
