Beach Trip

We went to Orange Beach with my family for vacation. We left on Friday afternoon on October 4th and stayed at a house in a private neighborhood with access to the beach. Everyone got there by that night.
Josh cooked breakfast tacos the next morning. The house was nice, but Mom wasn't happy with a few things. There were some mold spots in the house and a musty smell.  She tried finding another house that day.
We headed to the beach
Twinning that day
Josh was back at the house cooking pastalaya. Mom had found a house, so we had to pack up that afternoon and move.
The new house was in the Fort Morgan area, but it was very nice! Everyone was glad we moved.
It had it's own little pool
This was our bedroom
Hudson and Nash did a lot of fishing
Everyone went out to watch the sunset and catch crabs on the beach
We enjoyed drinking coffee in the mornings on the deck
Doug took all the guys out on a chartered fishing trip on Sunday morning. They had to get two boats. They only caught a few fish, but still had a good time.
We hung out at the beach while they were gone.
The boys came to the beach did more fishing when they got back
Took some family pictures. Leilynn and Emerie left at lunch time.
We went to eat at Tacky Jack's for dinner that night. It was on the water.
Our last beach day on Monda

That night we went souvenir shopping
Then got ice cream at Matt's in Gulf Shores
It was a good time being with everyone and getting to Jen and her family!

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

March 2025

4-H shooting regionals was held the week of March 17th. Hudson had archery on Tuesday.  He placed 4th in his category and was going to state! Josh was out there all week since he is a coach  Hudson had shot gun events on Friday and Saturday.  Coach Mr. Donald and team They pray before they start  Kaden made it to state in shotgun This was his first year shooting advanced shot gun and it was tougher, but we are proud of him for trying it.  Hudson finished his driver's ed class. He got a 98 on the driving portion.  We celebrated Josh's 45th birthday at his parent's house. His mom made lasagna.  The beans were an inside joke  I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake  We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. She loves that cake and I have been wanting to make it for her. She loved it and cried.

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
