Hudson wanted to go to the Tabasco factory on Avery Island the year Covid hit, so we did it this year. We went the day after his birthday. It was a beautiful day, but it did warm up by the afternoon.
We did the walking tour to all the stops
It starts with the greenhouse of pepper plants
This is the barrels used
These barrels are aging and it was an awful smell
We got to see the factory and assembly line
This is everyone who came with us
We ate lunch in the restaurant on site. All food the was good.
The Jungle Gardens tour was included in the admission.
We had Grace and Gianna in our car. We drove through and got out to look at things.
Bird City was so neat. It was a nesting area for egrets.
Hudson got close to an alligator
We stopped in the gift shop after the tour.
It was a fun day celebrating our new teenager!!
