Gulf Shores 2021

My family did a beach trip also. It was from October 6th-9th. We stayed at Phoenix Gulf Shores. We picked up Josh from work around 12:30 on Wednesday to head down. Gianna threw up in the car and I had to pull off at Tanger and wrap her blanket up. We got there around 4:15.
Mom had little gift bags for us
pretty sunset from the balcony
Thursday was our first full day
We could see sting rays in the water
We headed out to the beach in the morning
The kids played in the sand
Played horseshoes
Sitting by the pool
Went crabbing on the beach that night
Jen brought glow necklaces and bracelets. It was cool and we could see the kids easier.
They were having a lot of fun with it!
Josh told Jules to be good or she wouldn't get to catch crabs. He kept doing crab motions to remind her!
We went and got coffee across the street from the condo before heading to the beach
The manna rays were coming close to the beach
They had a slide and indoor pool
That night we went to Doc's Seafood for dinner. Everyone played the games outside.
We took pictures on the balcony before we left
We went to the souvenir shops after dinner and got ice cream
Packing up on Saturday morning
Everyone stopped at Bucces on the way out
It was a fun few days, but we missed Leilynn and Emerie. It was good to be with family and to see the Boughers!

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

March 2025

4-H shooting regionals was held the week of March 17th. Hudson had archery on Tuesday.  He placed 4th in his category and was going to state! Josh was out there all week since he is a coach  Hudson had shot gun events on Friday and Saturday.  Coach Mr. Donald and team They pray before they start  Kaden made it to state in shotgun This was his first year shooting advanced shot gun and it was tougher, but we are proud of him for trying it.  Hudson finished his driver's ed class. He got a 98 on the driving portion.  We celebrated Josh's 45th birthday at his parent's house. His mom made lasagna.  The beans were an inside joke  I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake  We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. She loves that cake and I have been wanting to make it for her. She loved it and cried.

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
