Pigeon Forge Part 2

Thursday morning we went horseback riding
We stood on a platform to get on our horses. They picked out our horses to match our size.
I was the last one to get on my horse, Spirit. He didn't want to be near the other horses. He had a mind of his own.
Gianna was in heaven! She loves horses!
Ready to ride
Josh had Delilah
We started out on flat ground
We went up the mountain a little and back down. It was a little scary, but it had been so long since I rode a horse.
Hudson was a little nervous too because his horse wasn't staying in line
It was a fun ride!
Saying goodbye to our horses
That afternoon, we went to Wonderworks Museum
It was full of experiments, games and a few rides
Earthquake simulator
You had to pedal to get the bike to go higher. It was harder than it looked.
The ropes course was fun and a little scary. We got in a harness and held onto a guide rope and walked around on small planks and obstacles in the air.
Bed of Nails
Bubble fun!
The kids liked the indoor roller coaster simulator and went back several times

It was a really fun place!
The last day of the trip  we did some souvenir shopping. Went to the Christmas store.
Got some coffee
Three Bears General Store
I found the same paddle that my Mom bought when we went to Tennessee in 1993
The bear attraction at the store wasn't that exciting
Josh and Hudson saw a knife shop where you can forge your own knife.
They pounded out the hot metal to form a blade

It was very neat. Josh went back and made a bigger blade later that day. They left with so many knives from this trip!
It was a great trip with new adventures and memories! We would love to go back again.

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

March 2025

4-H shooting regionals was held the week of March 17th. Hudson had archery on Tuesday.  He placed 4th in his category and was going to state! Josh was out there all week since he is a coach  Hudson had shot gun events on Friday and Saturday.  Coach Mr. Donald and team They pray before they start  Kaden made it to state in shotgun This was his first year shooting advanced shot gun and it was tougher, but we are proud of him for trying it.  Hudson finished his driver's ed class. He got a 98 on the driving portion.  We celebrated Josh's 45th birthday at his parent's house. His mom made lasagna.  The beans were an inside joke  I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake  We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. She loves that cake and I have been wanting to make it for her. She loved it and cried.

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
