Josh is off on some Fridays with his new job, so we switched our school week to Monday-Thursday in March. The new science book we tried this year was a little deep for the kids. I started to summarize the lessons for them and we did a few of the experiments. This was the Lazarus experiment with an ant.
Drowning an ant is hard! The salt brought it back to life.

Doing spelling challenges together
We stuck with school and finished out the year. It helped us to keep our routine going. They both finished with good grades. The second half of school is usually harder anyway, so we were all happy to finish.
Last day of school was May 14, 2020
She had to have Camo in a picture
The kids picked out a few summer toys to keep them busy. We got a kiddie pool too, all the above ground pools have been sold out.
We wanted to do something to celebrate the end of school, but we ended up going to Vacherie to buy a third vehicle. Josh drives 120 miles to work per day and his truck fuel was a lot. He started looking for a little car to drive for work. He found a standard Mini Cooper that gets awesome fuel mileage.
It looks so small, but is bigger than it looks. Adults can even fit in the back seat.

It fits perfect in the garage
