Summer 2018

We had lunch at Granny Lois' house with some cousins

The kids and I went with Jamie and the girls to Jackson, LA to pick blueberries. It was our first time to do it.
I think my kids picked for 20 minutes and were done. I don't blame them because it was very hot!
We picked about 3 lbs to use for baking
It was fun making a new memory together
Eating a good bit of watermelon
Sleepovers with cousins
Hudson making sure they are following the rules
Josh started teaching Hudson how to cut the grass. I know he has been waiting for this day! His first time was on July 21, 2018. I was tearing up while taking pictures and videos.
He cut some of the side yard and did really well. He is a good workers and such a help to Josh!

He is cutting a little more each time
Gianna had Princess Dance camp the last week of July. Grace and Jetta also went and they were all in the same class.
The boys came to our house the first day

Hudson and Kaden got to hang out while the girls were at camp
Each day they have a princess come to visit
On the last night, they had a closing program, "The Royal Ball"
They performed dances that they learned that week and they did a good job

Jules spent the night for the first time and she did very well. The kids liked having her and kept her entertained.

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
