Back to School

Well, the summer is ending for us. Hudson starts school tomorrow. We did a few more things before summer was over.

we got snowballs many times
Hudson and Gianna went to VBS at Christian Life. It was Gianna's first time and she loved it. Hudson was a little reluctant at first and cried some.
She made friends with an older girl and hung out with her the whole week
They love the samples at Whole Foods and Sam's
Hudson had his first sleepover with Nash at his house and went to VBS the next day

They have been asking to go to Chuck E Cheese for a while, so we finally went

It was a fun night! Gianna jumped up and down the entire time because she was so excited.
They like to write in shaving cream and I left the room for a few minutes and came back to a mess! It was on the bar, Gianna's legs and the floor.
Right when I'm fussing at them- Hudson slips in the wet shaving cream and falls! He was laughing, so it was very funny.
Took a trip to Lowe's with these cuties
 Hudson was a great babysitter

Hudson is getting better with swimming. He can touch in the pool on his tip toes

Nana B hosted a back to school dinner at her house
Everyone got some school supplies and a gift card

Nana & Papa took the grand kids to Chuck E Cheese for back to school fun. Hudson and Grace got to spend the night after.

Josh and I took them to see a movie for the last day of summer. Gianna has been asking to go to the "movie theater".

The kids liked it and Josh slept through half of the movie!
Summer seems to go by so fast, but I'm happy to have spent the time with my kids, doing things together and just enjoy them.

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

March 2025

4-H shooting regionals was held the week of March 17th. Hudson had archery on Tuesday.  He placed 4th in his category and was going to state! Josh was out there all week since he is a coach  Hudson had shot gun events on Friday and Saturday.  Coach Mr. Donald and team They pray before they start  Kaden made it to state in shotgun This was his first year shooting advanced shot gun and it was tougher, but we are proud of him for trying it.  Hudson finished his driver's ed class. He got a 98 on the driving portion.  We celebrated Josh's 45th birthday at his parent's house. His mom made lasagna.  The beans were an inside joke  I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake  We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. She loves that cake and I have been wanting to make it for her. She loved it and cried.

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
