We are half way through the fall soccer season. The family has been coming to watch Hudson. Josh is coaching his team and also a 3/4 year old team.
They have goalies this year and they can come up and catch the ball, so it's a little harder to score. He cried once when the goalie caught his ball, but is understanding now.
At school, they did a week on learning about apples and Johnny Appleseed. On that Friday, they had an apple breakfast with the families. Hudson's class did a skit and the other class performed a song.
Hudson was playing the farmer- that didn't care about the animals eating the apples.
A little clip from the skit.
We went in the cafeteria after to eat breakfast.
It was also homecoming week and there was a dress up theme each day. One day he was a cowboy for western day and wore camouflage another day.
We tried to go to the balloon festival, but it was a bust! The lines getting in and to do stuff were ridiculously long so we left soon after.
We pretty much went to eat a $5 snowball!
We went to a farmer's market to look around and eat lunch after church a couple weeks ago. The kids were amazed with the bee box.
Gianna had fun pushing around everyone's purchases
They were laughing at Uncle Luke
My kids didn't want their faces painted, so they got something on their arm.
Friday morning, Josh went to eat breakfast at school for Dads and Donuts. I'm glad Josh has been able to attend the events so far.
Josh found out that Hudson has quite a few little admirers at school- I'm not ready for that!
Josh coached Leilynn's soccer team on Saturday morning because Luke was out of town.
Leilynn was hustling up and down the field, but they didn't win. They did score 1 goal at the end, so Josh felt like he didn't totally fail.
Over the weekend we decorated for fall. We stopped after the game and got pumpkins and pine bales.
Hudson was excited to help, but Gianna wasn't interested at all and stayed inside. Later on, she said she wanted to help, but we were done. Now we just need some cooler weather so it will feel like fall.
