Crafts

We have been doing some Christmas crafts. I guess I did a lot of the work, but I like doing crafty things and I think the kids will too.

 

Our real tree is behind a baby gate in the foyer and it has worked out great. I saw this felt tree idea on pinterest for them to have their own tree to decorate as many times as they want.

This is a milk jug snowman with lights inside. Hudson put on all the shapes with tape. It's a pretty cheap decoration and I won't be too upset if it gets messed up :)

Hudson has been asking to paint, so we picked up some stuff at Hobby Lobby. He decided to do a bird house.

 Gianna colored in her Dora book. I'm not ready for her to paint yet and she was fine with coloring for now.

I have had these letters for a couple of years and never did anything with them. I painted them and added polka dots then hung them up in the kitchen. We now have a little more JOY in the house :)

Sunday was the annual bird tree decorating at the Couvillon's. Gianna hung orange cups and popcorn garland.

She did so well helping and she did not even try to eat any of the decorations!

Hudson could do the pine cones all by himself this year.

They both had such a good time playing with the other cousins. Hudson enjoyed having boys to play with and they taught him how to play tag.
