We have been doing a few things in the past couple weeks. It was a little cooler outside and that always makes me feel like doing more with the kids.
They had an antique car show here in town at an oldies fest on a Sunday afternoon. I thought Hudson would like to go see them. Nana B and Paw Paw came along too.
He didn't want to pose in front of any of the cars until he got to the VW Beetle. It was a different kind of boy outing and he liked it.
Gianna had fun dancing to the music. This is her new cheesy smile by the way.
We went to the Baton Rouge zoo last week with Jennifer, Grace and Kaden. It was a beautiful day to be out, but it did get a little warm.
Gianna didn't want to sit for a group picture.
Hudson is at a good age for the zoo. He likes seeing everything and wanted to know the names of the animals.
Gianna wanted to look at the animals from afar. She cried if they were too close.
They have a nice playground for the kids. Gianna didn't want to do anything, but walk around.
Before we left, we rode the train that goes around the parameter of the zoo. Hudson really liked it as I thought he would.
It was a fun day together with our cousins, who are also our friends as Hudson calls them. Jennifer and I managed well by ourselves with four kids :)
On the way out, Gianna got stung twice by a bee. It must have gotten caught in her shirt. I got some sting relief from the zoo and she seemed to be okay. The areas were red and a little puffy. She was very tired and fell asleep on the way home. We were so glad she didn't have an allergic reaction! It looked much better by that night.
On Saturday, we met up with Leilynn and Emerie to go to Bass Pro shop. We met at Target and everyone picked something out of the dollar section.
At Bass pro we ate lunch, played in the boats and looked at the animals. They had fun running around looking at all the stuff. Gianna was right there trying to keep up with them.
It was Gianna's first time to go there and she liked it until...
the catfish got too close!
