Hudson had his second birthday yesterday. We celebrated on Saturday with a party at Chuck E Cheese. I was very happy to have it there because it was minimal work for me. We pretty much just had to show up. Hudson, on the other hand, didn't have such an easy time. He played some games, but he didn't want to ride on anything.

Finally, he rode on the bulldozer, but still wasn't that happy about it.

Then it was time for the birthday show where Chuck E comes out to greet the birthday stars. Hudson was doing fine until Chuck E came close and he screamed.

The birthday kid gets to go in the ticket blaster to catch free tickets. He liked the safety glasses, but didn't know what was coming. They turned it on and wind blew tickets all around. He immediately started crying and we cut his time short because he was scared. Josh did manage to catch a lot of tickets anyway!

Cake and presents were fun and not scary. He did great blowing out his candles. When he was opening his gifts, he would pass up the bag if he saw it was clothes and not a toy inside.

Maybe he was a little young for a Chuck E Cheese party, but it was very memorable! We did cake and ice cream again last night since he likes blowing out candles so much.

It's crazy to think our little man is 2 and we have another baby on the way! I feel so blessed to be able to experience motherhood and raise children. Time passes by fast enough that I don't wish for him to be older, but I look forward to the new things he does.
