sitting

Hudson is starting to sit up. He doesn't quite have it all the way, but he is very close. With new milestones comes new frustrations. When he falls over, he gets mad because he can't get back up. We went to Maringouin on Sunday and picked satsumas. We tried to get him to hold one, but he just puts everything in his mouth.

He has been doing really good with eating baby food. He likes all the vegetables and now we are starting fruits. I hope he stays like this and is not a picky eater. I wanted to try and make our own baby food and found it wasn't hard at all. I froze the puree in ice cube trays. I saved over $20 by making it and have a lot stocked in the freezer.

Hudson is growing up so fast. I am so grateful that you are sharing his life with us. I'm afraid we wouldn't know him otherwise.

Sitting up! That is such a fun time! It seems like they really get to playing independently once they start sitting up! He is growing and changing so much!

And way to go making your baby food. It is so simple and saves a lot!

He looks so big and so cute. I can't believe he's been a part of our family for 6 months now. (but it does mean that it's getting closer for our little baby to come) It's hard to believe how fast time goes by!!

She did a great job! The ballet and pointe dances were so powerful and beautiful this year! I always get teary when I watch and this year was no different.  I volunteered on Sunday for the last showcase I was with a class next to Jules and got to watch some of her dances from back stage.  Gianna and Jules were both in this showcase, so my parents came to watch on Sunday A long weekend for the big girls, but they love doing it

He got a 98 on the driving portion.  We celebrated Josh's 45th birthday at his parent's house. His mom made lasagna.  The beans were an inside joke  I made him Granny Lois' lemon pound cake  We went to lunch for Jamie and Leilynn's birthdays at Building 5 I gave Jamie a kitchen towel with Granny's pound cake recipe. She loves that cake and I have been wanting to make it for her. She loved it and cried.

February 2025

The girls had dress rehearsal for dance. I went on the Thursday class on the 6th. We got to see a preview of the dances.  Hudson had his first driving session on February 10th. He has to do 8 hours of driving with 2 hours being at night. I waited in the parking lot until he left. We did pretty good waiting while he was gone, but we kept checking Life 360. He said it was fine, I thought he was a little nervous. Afterward, he said it was no big deal. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, since he has been driving off road vehicles since he was young.  We spent Valentine's Day at home and made pizzas.  My birthday was on a Friday and I had work. Josh surprised me with an orchid for my desk.  I had lunch with some of my family at Albashas. Dillon was in town for something else and was able to come to lunch.  We celebrated our 19th anniversary by going to The little Big Cup in Arnaudville.  The food was really good. I had the crab cake and eggplant stack and Josh h...
