I have some time on my hands since I'm at home now, which I'm enjoying very much. I know it will be very different once Hudson gets here, so I'm taking advantage of this alone time. I like trying new recipes, so this week I made bananas fosters. I have never tried it before, but Josh likes bananas so I figured I would go for it. I used a recipe I found online and substituted the rum with rum extract. It came out alright, but the rum flavor was strong so we didn't care for it too much. We tried it over pound cake and vanilla ice cream.

This is something else I just tried, nutella. It's an Italian spread made of chocolate and hazelnut. It's really good. In Italy, it's their version of peanut butter. You can eat it on bread, cookies or right out the jar.
